What do you like most about your Boat and Motor? Why should people consider buying one? – Being a 21 foot boat I can keep nearly everything I own on board, the storage is that good. The rough water ride is outstanding and the top end speed is pretty good for a fully loaded tournament boat. I really like the motor too. My Yamaha is strong and it is awesome on the gas and oil. It doesn't use much of either compared to other boats I've used.

How did you get started in bass fishing? – According to my mom I started fishing with my Grandpa when I was about 2. He used to take me so I could use my snoopy pole. I really didn't start bass fishing until I was 12 or 13 with my Stepdad.

How did you get into tournament fishing? – My Stepdad took me to fish the Coca Cola tournament on Lake Talquin in 2000. I caught my first tournament fish ever in that tournament but it ended up costing us. I hit a stump on the way back to weigh in our fish. Despite the problems I loved the experience. Now all I want to do is fish.

What's your favorite technique? – I like swimming paddle tail worms in shallow water, Carolina Rigging in deep water and Flipping when I can.

How about your fishing highlights.. What accomplishments are you most proud of? -

  • Finishing as the top non boater in my first Florida Federation tournament.
  • Winning my first club tournament with Big Bend BASS.
  • Winning the non top six side of the 2004 Big Bend BASS Classic

Any advise you'd like to pass on to others interested in tournament fishing? – Never Give Up! The more you work at bass fishing the more it will pay off. If you really want to be successful you have to work very hard and don't quit.

Who are your sponsors? Anyone else you want to thank? - I really want to thank Tri State Marine of Florida and most of all, my family for all the help they have been. They have always been there to support me in my fishing endeavors and I really do appreciate it very much.
